Merlin - 12 weeks and growing fast!

I thought it was high time I dipped my foot back in the blogging waters and shared some new photos of Merlin Moog - at the grand old age of 12 weeks and 3 days.

It's been a strange few weeks, what with Dad's funeral and starting to sort out his estate but this little ray of sunshine (and lots of sock knitting!) has been the very best distraction.

Thank goodness, he's now had his jabs and is out and about exploring the big wide world. We were all going stir crazy for a while there!

Today has been full of new. Merlin has been introduced to the most beautiful 11 week old spaniel pup called Rosie....and fell in love....amd showed disturbingly early signs of very male behaviour...ahem...

He's had his first foray into the New Forest, complete with wild ponies and their adorable foals, and displayed very Mooglike behaviour when it came to his first experience of a river - straight in, right up to his armpits!

After a 20 minute snooze in the car, we then persuaded him that a walk on the beach was a good idea. He seemed totally unfazed by the huge breakers crashing on the beach and looked totally at home.

It's hard to believe he hasn't lived with us forever. It is also hard to believe just how amazingly fast he's growing - he almost seems to grow as you watch him and is already filling 'Merlin's Cave' (AKA the fireplace)!

He'll soon be going on his first camping trip. Can't wait :o)

Love Moogs xxx

He is indeed beautiful. Loving the 'pointed' paw.

Aaaawww he really is a handsome boy!! I love his brown patches, however, I am slightly worried about his behaviour towards the ladies! He needs to learn to woo them a bit first!!
He is just what you need to help you through and I look forward to watching him grow xxx
